I Need Laughs

I Need Laughs is a great mini-documentary that chronicles “One week in the trenches of the New York underground comedy scene”. It really gets in to how the sausage is made, and does a great job of showing the small victories that keep us going every day in the insane endeavor of standup comedy.

For more from Matt Ruby, make sure to check out his blog at sandpapersuit.com. His insights in to the art of standup comedy are thoughtful and informative. I highly recommend adding it to your daily rss feeds.
